Okay so after this mornings excitement, the neighbor on the end of the street stoppped by. Her car was broken into and STOLEN!! I knew something was up because when Bill and I walked the street this am looking for his key and or wallet remnants, I saw the broken glass and commented to Bill that it looked like car glass. I didn't like being right on that one.
So Bill came home around noon time. He stoppped at the PO to have them pull our PO box and street box mail for the next week or so, that only Bill or I are allowed to pick it up from them. AND he called the bank to make sure the block/fraud alert was on. It was, because the idiot/idiots had tried to get $300 from an ATM at the QFC in University Village at 6:47 am. He blocked it all at 5:38am SCARY!! We have notified all of the neighbors on the street. Bill now owns "the club" and will have to take time off work to get another drivers license, SSN card etc. What a pain.
i kicked him and Chandler out of the house earlier (Chan is paranoid) to go see a movie. The went to see the new Harry Potter to piss Sammy off. lol Sammy right now is in Las Vegas visiting her uncles. She called earlier from the Belagio and had already ridden the 3 rides at the Stratasphere. Lucky girl.
Well I am off to take something for my headache.

Rude Awakening
Well, it has been an interesting morning so far. Bill woke me up around 5am with... Someone got in my van and stole my keys and wallet! OMG.
Okay so he is already beating himself up for leaving those items in his unlocked work van! We have called the bank, credit card, and the cops. I will be calling the cops again to come and question some delinquent boys down the street. I had to go to the store to get some cash so he could put gas in my car to get to work. His boss is bringing the spare key, so Bill should be back around 11am to get his van and bring my car back for me. His boss is baing very understanding, especially since Bill had like $300 in gas and misc receipts that were going to be turned in on Friday.
Oh, and we have made it 8 days without smoking!! Whoo hoo. Although the cravings are still there for me at certain times of the day, but we are haning in there.
So here I sit, with haircolor on my hair ( the grays were getting out of hand) Getting Chandler up and moving to go to school. and looking forward to crashing for a few later today. okay, I need to get some more coffee and rinse my hair out. Will keep you all posted if we find anything out.

OMG!!
This has got to be the absolute most HARDEST single thing I have ever done in my entire life!! Childbirth was easier than this, well I did have an epidural to help me out with the pain. Well at least Bill is going through it with me. I do think it would have been better if I was working. We are 2 hours shy of the 48 hour mark and they say if you make it to the 4th day. You have gone through the worst of it. No Iam not saying it!! I think I have a couple of cards saved on the computer to show you. I made tham a bit ago. I would post 2 new cards I recently did. But I sent the Kodak camera with Sammy on her road trip to Oklahoma with G-pa. So anyways. Enjoy. Will be back Friday or Saturday!

Last tourney of the season for..........
Sammy.
She drove away this morning with Grandpa at 5:45 am. They are on their way to Oklahoma and will be back in two weeks. It was very strange this morning not having to pack lunches, make sure we have ice in the cooler and a map to the field. The following photos are from her last game on Saturday. Her Aunt Liz and Treva came over from Yakima. they were their for her 2nd game. They only got to see her bat as the coach sat her for that game. We did get to go have lunch with them before they left. I will have to get their permission to post their photos. Enjoy. Sammy will be attending quite a few tryouts next month. It is time to move onto another team.

While we were waiting for the game to finish and for Sammy's to start. We ran into Coach Mike and his wife Jenna. I mentioned Coach Mike a few posts back in May. He coached Sammy when she was on the LadySharks. Coach Mike has an agressive brain tumor, I think the only thing that keeps him going is Softball. He gave Sammy a big hug and told her when his team was playing at the same complex as her team. He wanted to see/talk to her but either she was playing or his team was. That made her feel really good. His team is on their way in a few weeks for Nationals. When Sammy was on the team, that was their first time to make it to Nationals.

Coach Stan just told the team. This was Sammy's last day. She was so fighting the tears.

Championship Game.......

Got another hit, but...
got out at first.
Now playing catcher.
We ended up losing 13-0 . I think the weather had something to do with it. It was nearly 100 degrees.
The girls took the loss fairly well. We went back Thursday to play again. It is a double elimination tournament.
No slurpee tonight. Chandler had one awhile before the game. Plus she got a chocolate milkshake after. Yes, I actually forgot to take a photo!
Will post later today with highlights from Thursdays last game. Iam off to bed!

Big Red!
Here is why 'Big Red" was purchased. It just makes sense. We were paying a friend of mines husband to mow the back 40 with his tractor. It adds up quickly so G'pa and Sammy drove to Portland ( no sales tax) and brought home "Big Red". it even has a drink cup holder. :) Plus since Sammy will be getting her driver's permit ( god help me)soon, it is good practice for her without having to drive my car!yikes, I am so not ready for that!
Trying to figure out how to get " Big Red " off the truck.....safely!

Reading the manual to find the brake.
Chandler was the lucky one to get to sit on "Big Red" and man the brake while we helped ease it off the truck.
"Big Red" finally made it off the truck.
After spending most of the day reading the manual and testing eachother. Sammy finally got to take "Big Red" for a spin!
