Look........

What I saw this morning out the window. I ran for the camera and then ourside. By that time he was already up the tree a ways. First photo is kind of dark. I changed the setting and took another shot, he had climbed up more by the time I changed the setting.He climbed to the top and I dont know if he has come down yet. Also one of the neighborhood rabbits was visiting!

All Stars Game 3

Game 2 was a nail biter. the girls bats were not there for awhile and they made some bonehead mistakes. But they rallied and got it done! Yeah girls.

Whoo hoo!! They WON! By one , in extra innings (one)for a total of 7 innings. Talk about a total nail biter of a game. They play the Championship game on Wednesday. It is supposed to be record temps here that day upper 90's possibly to 100. ugh. The game starts at 6pm. Thank goodness I bought 2 more cases of water today.





Okay, Iam NOT a big Simpsons fan. I really do not like it when Bill and the girls watch it. But recently on the news 7-11 have turned a few 7-11's into Kwik E Marts. They did one on Downtown Seattle. Hopefully Bill will take the girls and get some photo's. I will keep you posted. Anyways, they had signs at this 7-11 so I took a photo of Chandler in front of one. Also, they call slurpees, squishies. So anyways, the whole Family got one. Plus it was hot hot hot!!

Game 2 was a nail biter. We were down 2-0 until the 5th inning when the girls bats woke up! Boy did they ever. We won 2-5. It was so fun and exciting. Bet you can't wait to find out the results of the third game. I will tell you it was more of a nail biter then this one! Remember you can click on photos to make larger!

4th of July

Well since we had to be at Chandlers All Star Tourney, we didnt get to go see the parade here in Carnation. That's okay. There is always next year.
Here are a few photos of our fun. We have a huge field out back and the neighbors made a volleyball court out there for the younger partygoers to use and enjoy, Sammy had a lot of fun playing. Our neighbor puts on the BIGGEST fireworks show. I would hate to pay that bill! lol Both girls scored with handfuls of Roman Candles. Enjoy the photos.

Exciting Stuff!!

WOW, I can't believe it has been 3 weeks since I last blogged. It has been crazy here with Softball. Chandler and 5 other players from her LL team jopined up with 8 girls from the Fall City league and made an All Star team. The experience has been AWESOME!!! Their first game was on July 4th at 3PM And they won!!! It was so great for these girls. As some of you know Chandler's regular season team had only won 2 games and it was only by forfeits. So to come to the AS tournament and win the first game, was sooo exciting. here are a few photos I took. I will post again very very soon with games 2 and 3 and more exciting news!

New Softball look!

This and That and tons of Chaos!

Well Chandler is done with her regular season. Her are some shots of her pitching on the last game I was able to attend. I sooo screwed up and had the smallest photo card in the camera. DUH! Anyways she start her "All Star" practices tomorrow. Her first game will be on July 4th @ 3pm. Which means we wont be able to do the Carnation 4th festivities and parade. We have done thewm for 15 years and always have a lot of fun. But we will be back home for the neighbors HUGE firework display.

Okay so after we lived here a year, the kitchen light went out. It was one of those ugly flourescent ones. Well about a year ago my FIL checked it out and said it was probable the wiring. Fast forward to last weekend. Bill took it down, since we found a ceiling light amongst the crap in the closet. So he went ahead and installed it, mind you Bill is not a real handy kind of guy...painting yes. Not electrical. Anyways, as you can see. It works, see Sammy, she had an idea? She can be soooo blonde at times.The light fixture is just temporary until I pick out and can afford the one I want. Bill also got The "accent" wall done. We will be adding family photos in black frames on that wall.






So while the weather is a little cooler outside we decided to do some stuff inside. Bill is doing a great job. I have done some but he is the "MAN" As you can see some repair work needed to get done, we dont know what the previous owners did but geez! Some weird stuff I tell ya. But hey, I get to get the curtain rods I have wanted for awhile and probably new curtains too. AND a few store are having a few window covering sales this week. Who-hoo for me! Oh and the cats have been getting confused as we have been shuffling furniture all over the place and they do not like change. They finally settled and I had to snap a photo. Aren't they sooo cute!












Organizing my stamp room. I saw punch storage on Nichole Heady's blog, using curtain rods.( purchased at Home Depot) I did the same as the gal did and painted them black (matte) actually Bill painted them for me. I hung them up and added my punches. I think it turned out good. I also had two shelves I had Bill paint as well. Im still arranging and rearranging them. lol
