District Playoffs Game 4 5/17/08

The team played game 4 to see who would be 3rd and 4th seed. They won 7-2 So they are the 3rd seed.They were so tired and hot after game 4. With it 90 degrees out we all got touches of sunburn. The team will be busing over to Yakima Thursday morning for their 1st game at noon on Friday. They can play up to 3 games on Friday. Bill, Chandler and I will drive over on Thursday afternoon and stay with Bill's sister. After State we will be driving over to Wenatchee for Sammy's select team tourney on Sunday and Monday. I'm tired already. I will be back next week with tons more info and photos to share!

District Playoffs Game 3 5/17/08

90 degrees outside.... The girls were playing the team that was their only loss the whole season. This game in District was a do or die for both teams. The loser will go home and the winner goes to STATE!!! Guess what........Sammy and her team are going to STATE! Next up...game 4 Hugs and Giggles

District Playoffs Game 2 5/15/08

Here we are Game 2. The girls won there first game. Since there were rain outs. We had to go to Lynden (near the Canadian border)They also changed the game times, so we missed out on game 1. They lost game two due to several factors. They played again on Saturday. Enjoy the photos. Will be back to post photos of game 3 and 4.

Prom photos!!

Here is a photo of what I was not amused about. See the little security tag in Sammy's left armpit? Yup. Sear forgot to remove it. Of course you can't remove it because it will leak all over. So after the little photo shoot at Alex's they went to the high school for the professional photos, went bowling then to Sears to have it removed then dinner and onto EMP where the prom was being held. Thank goodness it wasn't a major problem and she could hide it with her arm. She had a blast and Bill and I were exhausted from staying up til 1am. Hugs and Giggles!!

Happy Mother's Day

I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL day!

I will post pictures tomorrow of Sammy's first prom! She was asked on Monday 5-5 and the prom was tonight 5-10, so it has been a whirlwind week trying to get everything together including both Bill and I purchasing boutonnieres. She had her 2 last ball games before District Playoffs, practices and homework, but we got it all done. There is a total funny, although when first discovered I was not a happy camper. Til then.

Olympia Fun

Here we are at the Capital grounds. Sammy's team had a late start time for their first game so we went a little sightseeing.





We went to Cabela's, the most super duper sporting goods store!! We had fun taking some fun photo's!

Here is Sammy at her school ball game on 4-25 You can see the scoreboard on one of the photos they won again. Right after the game we headed to Olympia for her select tournament. I will post about that later. From Friday the 25th til Monday the 28th Sammy played in 7 games. Yikes

Sammy's Stats

Sammy's High School Fastpitch team will be going to District playoffs on the 14th and 17th. If they do well, they will go onto State in Selah on the 23rd and 24th. They won all of their games except for one! The team is so excited, they have had a wonderful season. I will be busy this summer scrapbooking all the photos and newspaper articles on Sammy and her team. I will keep you posted. I also plan on updating more this weekend with what we have been up to....Softball!! As we have no softball going on this weekend!
