Sammy update

Well she got over the MRSA and now has folliculitus. Infection of the hair follicle. It is in her armpit. She is now on an antibiotic for 10 days. After she is done with that. She will go in and get her nose swabbed to see if she is a carrier for MRSA. After that. We don't know. Will keep you posted. Oh, here is a photo Bill's Dad took of us on the log ride at Silverwood!

First Day of School

And Chandler's first day of high school. I think she was up at 4:30! She was a bundle of nerves! lol As you can see they both got there haircut, colored and highlighted! I was sure there would be some huge arguments in the morning fighting over the bathroom etc. But so far so good! they are also learning to get up with their own alarm clocks, so I get to sleep in a bit more since I have to be at work later then they have to be at school. When they got home from the first day. I had cupcakes and milk ready for their afterschool snack. It was fun with all of us sitting at the table eating and talking about our day. Hugs and Giggles!!

Chandler's 14th Birthday!

I cannot believe she is 14 and going to High School in a week!
As usual we went to Red Robin for dinner. Love the onion rings! As you can see Red the Robin was there! She was sooo embarrassed when they sang to her. One of Chandler's requests this year was money, money and more money. She wanted to buy what she wanted with it. We waited til Friday and her and I took off in the morning and went shopping til we dropped! It was fun. We also met up with Bill and he bought us lunch. We found a ton of bargains too. Next up.....the first day of school!

I know I know

It has been a month since my last post. I was busy helping Sammy through the MRSA thing. Chandler's Birthday was coming up, school/work was starting soon and I was geting overwhelmed by it all. So Bill got some Mariner tickets for the 8/25 game. He and the girls went and had fun. It had been awhile since they had seen an M's game. And I got to have a break! lol Will post again right after this one with Chandler's 14th Birthday!
