Westport

Sammy needed to play catch with Chan so she would be ready for upcoming tryouts. When they were done the girls were just rolling the ball to eachother. They stayed out there for quite awhile. It seems some "Hot" guys had driven by, so they stayed out playing in hopes to see them again! ugh

They found a live crab on the beach. We only had reception in town or on the beach, here is Chandler talking to Bill, love the water drop on my lens, added a cool effect.
It is not camping unless you...........Roast, Toast, or Totally burn a Marshmallow. You need that sugar buzz to stay up real late in the tent! lol

Westport Trip

Went to " Westport" for more taffy, chicken bones, and a donut! Check out Chandler's maple bar. Sugar buzzin for the next week!





Packing it all up and getting ready to go home!

Oh no.............

It is official! Sammy has her driver's permit!! If you live in Carnation, please be cautious when driving. You never know when she may be on the road! Her Dad first has to take her over to the middle school parking lot ... hopefully every night! lol Before she gets actual road time! Me....well I will be taking drugs so I can sleep through the whole thing. just kidding, well maybe not. Not sure yet! lol

For those that have known Chandler for pretty much her whole life, Edgar Martinez from the Seattle Mariner's has always been her idol, love etc. I remember at some of her earlier baseball games some of the mom's calling Eddddddddddgarrrrrrr when she was at bat. She would do it to him when she would go to Mariner games. So when G-pa came up with this invite to the Boeings Classic golf thingy, she so jumped at the chance to finally meet him in person. You could only get one item autographed, well a few years ago her best friend Cassandra gave her this large plaque with an 8x10 of Edgar and 2 of his trading cards. She took both cards and Sammy took one of her cards.( They made G-pa stand in line and get one signed too.)lol Below is a phot G-pa took of her with Edgar. ( I wish she had her face painted after, oh well)

While she was gone!

We decided to tear off the deck the previous owner (landlord) didn't replace. Eeewww there was yucky stuff under there.
I also finally got some photos hung up on my "accent" wall! The 2 bottom ones on each side are magnetic, they came with the clear frames and 6 more super strong magnets. I have not added pictures to them yet.
Last photo is of Chandler, she caught the little bunny that has decided to live on our property. He/she is still out there. The cats LOVE to stare and sit at attack through the screen door. It is funny. I will try to post about our trip to Westport very soon!

Sammy's summer road trip with Grandpa 7/2007

Sammy got to do a road trip to Oklahoma and back with her Grandpa. She had a lot of fun. They had to get to Ok in a rush and a more relaxed trip on the way home. I will post later ALL of the states they went through.
Remember she is only 15 and some of her photos only make sense to her! lol Enjoy the next 4 posts of photos. I think getting to tour the Softball Hall of Fame is right up there with her getting to see Yankee Stadium a few years back.
