Sammy's room

Well, Bill and I had a plan one evening after we took the girls to the last high school football game.( We are getting to old to stand out in the cold and rain watching football) Get into Sammy's room and declutter, organize her a bit. She happens to have the largest room in the house but is soooo cluttered she cannot keep it clean/organized. Oh the reason she has the largest room. Because of the design of the stairs, we cannot fit our king size bed up there. Anyways, we were up there sorting, folding and organizing when Dallas ( G-pa) came up. We have been wondering what is under layers and layers of paper etc on the walls. Well we found out alright and the photos below will show you. What a job! There must have been at least 6 layers of stuff. Some sort of felt paper, backwards wallpaper, yes they put it on backwards, more paper and paint and the last layer was.....burlap that they painted white after the attached it to the wall! ugh If you see on one of the photos of the wall, some of the boards are cut.
