Family and Friends
I am getting this post out later than planned.
Welcome to my blog. I post a little of this and a little of that. Most of you found about the blog from the Christmas card I sent out. I didn't write a letter last year and I heard from a few of you that missed receiving it. This year I just was not into it when it hit me that what better way to keep you all informed, was to give you my blog address. If you notice over there>>>>>>>>>>>> on the right. You can sign up for email updates. You will get an email when I update my blog. You can click on all the photos and they will be made bigger. You can also leave comments, questions etc in the comments section to any of the posts I have done. Would love to hear from you!
Have a safe and Happy New Year...Sounds like Bill and I might have the night to ourselves! lol

What you have been seeing in the news
No it wasn't us. We are safe and sound.
the older woman that was killed...Judy. She was our mail carrier. She will be missed by us as she was an awesome mail carrier. I certainly hope her daughter and bf that did it get what they deserve and then some!

Merry Christmas
Better late than never right!
We had a wonderful Christmas and hope you all did too.
Here are a few shots of our holiday starting off with the tree lighting ceremony in town at the commons. Bill and the girls goofing off while we were freezing. The girls building a gingerbread house. Will have to do this every year, kept them busy for a couple of hours! Loca the cat, just resting after a hard day of chasing Fifi.
A fun thing that Bill's Dad did at Chrsitmas, he wrapped up a gift for me...with a clue on it. We had no idea what it could be. Fast forward a few days, he gave us a couple of more clues, that had us all stumped. When the time came to open it we still had no clue, well it was a number 2. Now you are all wondering why would someone give a number. Well it was a number 2 for the house, those largish numbers. Yup. Iam the proud owner of one! lol The story behind this is right after we bought the house, we started painting. Bill took my numbers down and misplaced one of the 2's. Don't ask me how but he did. I have been razzing him for a few months now about my 2. lol I hadn't gotten around to getting to the local hardware store to replace the 2. We had a lot of fun trying to figure out what was in that box!
The next photos show the girls with their most favorite envelope in the world! You see this envelope holds a large bill, for them to use to go shopping the day after Christmas and get what they want. Come to think of it they received a lot of envelopes this year.....and were able to purchase what they wanted. Next up is Bill opening up the first season of Mork and Mindy!( he actually got season 2 too!) We have been trying to find it for a couple of years now and I finally found it on Amazon. Me....I got a bind it all, it punches holes into chipboard covers, paper etc and o-rings to make your own books etc. Once I learn how to do one I will post a photo of it.
We hope you all had a great Holiday Season.

RIP
Mike Richdale!
I shared this photo back in July or August. Mike was Sammy's coach when she was on the NW Lady Sharks 3 years ago. He was diagnosed with a progressive form of brain cancer. We were all shocked he lived this long. But we also knew that the girls and softball kept him going. Sammy learned a lot from him. He is/was a great coach. We are all going to his service on Tuesday. They are requesting that the girls wear there team jerseys. So I need to find the one she wore when she was on the team and get it washed, since it has been boxed up for 3 years. He will be greatly missed.
Hugs and Giggles!
