Changes

I am going to be making some changes to my blog over the next week or so as time allows.
Here is what we woke up to Thursday morning!! Another SNOW day :)

How can I.....

give 25 boxes of diaper wipes at a baby shower and not go broke? The Grocery Game. I have been a gamer for almost 2 years. The key is stockpile!!and COUPONS! I have enough shampoo for the 4 of us for at least 6/8 months or more, as well as body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes. I haven't bought cereal since August. I have done this all with a budget of $100. a week. This week I only need Milk, fresh fruit, yougurt and fresh veggies,and will pick up some free toothbrushes. I have donated tons of stuff, I have also sent stuff to my niece in San Francisco who is going through the job corps program and doesn't make a whole lot of $$ and since I get the stuff so cheaply and or free, I pay more in postage then I actually paid for the stuff I send her. Below is a photo of some of the stuff I got last weekend with the proctor and gamble coupon. The deal was buy 5 p&g products and the coupon printer at the checkout will spit out a $10 coupon, which I just kept rolling over and over and over to the tune of 33 transactions, some of which totaled 0 or .35 it was such a adrenaline rush!



This photo was just the stuff I got on Saturday, the girls wanted to go to the dollar store and there was an Albertsons in the same parking lot so guess what....I went and did some more coupon rolling!
Here is what I got for the 2 days I did this, not everything is in the photo.
46 diaper wipes
4 pantene shampoos
1 always pads
50 always pantiliners
8 cans of Folgers
23 kandoo kids handwash
25 dawn dish liquid
5- 12 packs of coke
32 cases of capri sun juice pouches
16 boxes of yogo fruit snacks
4 sunday papers
Total before q's: $658.91
After q's: $ 107.11.....WOW 83% savings!

Where has a month gone??

I can't believe it has been a month since my last post. What have I been doing? Do you have a few days? lol :)
Sammy has started 2 a week select sb practice, this past week she has started work outs for the high school team. Busy at least once a week playing in the school band at ALL basketball home games. She is well on her way to earning her first letter in High School. We are very proud of all the hard work, drive and determination she has shown in her freshman year....hope she keeps it up.
Chandler will be playing sb in Little League again this year, her and Bill have been trying to play catch a few times a week before actual practices start. This will be the first year in about 7 that Bill will NOT be coaching either of the girls. Not sure how he will deal with that.
Bill has been super busy with work, not to mention putting up with us 3 girls! lol
He also had a girlfriend for about 3-4 days. One of Chandlers cats "Loca" was in heat and she just LOVED Bill. It was sooooo funn, The way she would holler at/to him.
I have been the "Taxi" driver, the keeper of everyones schedules etc.
I cut back on my Stampin classes at home etc. But last month I started having classes at my school. Iam hoping to do them once a month, I have another one on the 22nd.
the girls and I are going to a baby shower tomorrow, one of the gifts we are giving is 25 boxes of diaper wipes (will explain that one in my next post) Another gift is a name frame......tell me what you think of it.

White Stuff

So of course, no school today and we are off on Friday as well. So we get a 5 day weekend!!




Oh my....more and more snow! close to 8 inches.

We lost power for 5 hours this morning. So around 1045 we drove to Fall City Grill in Fall City and had brunch and got warm. Afterwards we drove to Snoqualmie Falls. Got some good shots. Enjoy the photos. Hugs and Giggles

Oh the Weather outside is frightful!!

I just crack myself up!!
Well today we woke up to a trace of snow. School was 2 hours late. No problem. We then this early evening it started snowing....it hasn't stoppped. We have 7 inches so far. So that probably means we will have NO school tomorrow and with the forecast of below freezing temps. We may not have school Friday as well. We already have 8 days to make up before all this. ugh I believe tha school district will be shortening our mid-winter break etc so we do not have to go to school in July! yikeys
Well anyways, here are a few photos from tonight and the girls playing in the snow. Good thing Grandma gave the girls hats and matching scarves for Xmas, although they didn't wear the scarves tonight, the hats came in real handy and they are so fashionable too!!

More Storm Photos

Some photos of our "storm" adventures.
G-pa flew in on Sunday. Still no power. But we got to check emails at McDonalds on his laptop. We must have hauled almost all of our blankets to the Sorensen house to stay warm etc. Oh and Sammy being a pyro with the outdoor firepit. Our first "camp" dinner....bbq chicken, yummo. Also a few drinks helped keep me warm too! lol

Here is why I have been MIA. We lost power on Thursday 12/14/2006 at 10:55 PM My next few postes will chronicle our adventures of our 5 days without power! It was such fun! NOT!! lol

Cute little LoCa was at it again! lol She just loves toilet paper. Paper Towels too. We need to get aomething different for a paper towel holder, or I may need to mount is on the cupboard under the sink. We will see.

Crazy Busy!

WOW. I got a few pages scrapped. I found some cool embellishments for a few of them. I also tried my hand at the " Pinecone" ornament. Boy my eyeballs were a buggin when I got done making it. I actually made another one last night. I might get a few more done before Christmas. So exciting...my SAB sets arrived. They are all mounted and waiting for my to play with them. I did get a couple piggy ones done. I am hoping to get a few more done during winter break. I think Iam going to be super busy during break! lol
I may be MIA for a bit. Have a few things to get done on the homefront, Bills dad will be here for the holdays and the girls rooms are nasty! Oh and I have all the yummy goodies to make...fudge, puppy chow, hello dolly's and peanut brittle!
